The Born Again Lifestyle of the Rich in Christ

Once Jesus spoke to a Pharisee named Nicodemus and told him that, "Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Then Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. " - John 3: 3 - 6.

The term 'born again' refers to a re-birth. Every man and woman was once born into this world through a father and a mother. To enter the kingdom of God, we need to be born in to the kingdom of God, that is, we need to be born of the Spirit of God - this is the second birth. The first birth is a physical birth. The second is a spiritual birth. We become born of God by believing in Jesus who gives us the right to become children of God. The children of God has the Spirit of God in them, and it is only by the Spirit of God, one can say that Jesus is Lord. Thus, through faith in Jesus we become children of God. We become born again.

The person who lives the worldly lifestyle focuses on being rich to himself or herself, in this world.
